Studland & Old Harry Rocks

When in Dorset I love a visit to Studland and Old Harry Rocks. We usually park in Knoll car park, as we’re members of The National Trust, and stroll along the beach to the right.

We completely lucked out and had amazing weather on this sunny saturday in January, but this walk is great whatever the weather as there’s so much to see along the way.

We stopped for a drink at middle beach cafe, which is at the end of the beach, keep walking up the hill next to it and you can follow the coastal path to Old Harry Rocks.

Stop off at The Bankes Arms for a drink or lunch along the way, they have a garden with gorgeous views, but beware of the seagulls.

I always cherish the moments when I’m close to such natural beauty and no matter how many times I do this walk I’m always stunned by how peaceful and beautiful it is.
