Dingle Peninsula

Ok so again not strictly a staycation but I said I’d share different parts of our incredible road trip in Ireland.

Dingle was one that really surprised us, I wasn’t prepared for how beautiful it would be. We did the Slea Head drive which is a circular route which forms part of the Wild Atlantic Way

Depending on if you do the drive clockwise or anti clockwise you get different views and perspectives along the way.

We started our journey in Dingle town, it’s pretty colour buildings are striking. We bought all we needed for a picnic here, at the various shops and deli’s. Don’t miss Dick Mack’s, such a great pub full of character.

Once we hit the road there were stunning views wherever we looked. We stopped for our picnic half way and enjoyed the unspoilt landscape.

Mr K and I really want to return and explore more of this part of the world.

Have you travelled any part of the Wild Atlantic Way? Comment below with your recommendations.
